How to make polymer clay roses and another giveaway!

In this post I show how to make these simple polymer clay red roses.

How to make the roses in the photo.

Materials required:

Polymer clay - I used fimo clay but any brand will do. 
Long pins
Polymer clay varnish
Oven to bake the clay

Take a small piece of clay and roll into ball like this

Roll out long and thin like this
Press the clay flat with your fingers and place a pin in this position
Start to roll like this
Until it looks like this

Then squeeze the clay until the clay looks like this under the rose
It is now ready to bake in the oven according to manufacturers instructions

When the clay is baked leave to cool and varnish with clay varnish, leave to dry and you are done!
